If you do not have doors on your closet, you will want to add curtains to make the room look nicer. Tension rods can be purchased for under $10 at Walmart and Target. Ready-made curtains will make the transition easier, but a custom look can be achieved by making curtains from table covers or bedsheets. Using iron-on adhesive tape to complete a rod pocket will make custom curtains a snap!

When it comes to storage, accessorize your closet with hanging shoe-holders and organizational compartments. If you have a shelf in your closet, use bins to separate your items.
